Please to excuse the mess that is my template.

Likeafrog | Tuesday 30 December 2008 11:13 pm

I do not have time to fix it right now.

Something about this is too gray.

Allergies,Likeafrog | Tuesday 30 December 2008 10:52 pm

But I cannot for the life of me figure out the coding in the style sheet for those links up there.

Of course, I was also watching The Italian Job while messing with it so I was kind of distracted.

Edit: I changed templates after this so you have no hope for knowing what I was talking about.

Also, I know I talk about this way too much, but here is a chart of seasonal pollen levels in Central Texas courtesy of the Central Texas Allergy and Asthma Center.

EXCITED.

Traveling | Monday 29 December 2008 7:26 pm

Two days to Tucson!

Have gone to CS

Allergies,Miscellaneous | Wednesday 24 December 2008 10:16 pm

where the pollen levels of mountain cedar (ashe juniper) are much, much lower and I can breathe and concentrate on other things. In a few days I’ll go to Tucson where I think it will be even lower. Then at a later point I’ll return to Austin where my face will explode for probably another month. I’ll probably go to the doctor to see if he can give me anything powerful to suppress my stupid immune system. I HATE CEDAR FEVER. But my new apartment has an air purifying system that should be pretty great. We’ll see how it goes. I’ll probably complain a lot.

My dad bought some Mumm champagne for us. =) It’s hard not to think about how I’ve been in the U.S. for over four months now but I try pretty hard. I saw Meredith S today and I haven’t seen her in about four years.

Merry Christmas everyone. =) This is our last Christmas in Aggieland.

Get me

Tonight at work

Classes (that I take) | Tuesday 16 December 2008 12:56 am

would have been pretty boring except that at about 5:30 Elijah Wood walked in! I recognized him immediately but let him place his order (he was with a friend) without harassing him. Then my manager said I should go get his autograph and I did and I sat down with them while he signed it and he was super nice and, by the way, incredibly cute. (Incredibly.)

It made my night! I don’t exactly know how to accurately express my excitement.

(Otherwise, I had my syntax final this morning so I’m done for the semester FINALLY. Then I closed tonight and it only took me 35 minutes to sweep which was record time for me and made the entire process feel much easier.)

(I just thought I’d put that in parentheses because it was just so much less exciting than the above.)

Too entertaining…

and yet not quite as easy as it looked to find something iconic enough.

Classes are over

Classes (that I take),Housing | Tuesday 9 December 2008 4:26 pm

for the semester. I have just one final, on Monday. Other than that I’ve been working. We threw a Christmas party Sunday night, for which I made food. Finger food. It was a lot of fun.

I’m sort of starting to pack for the move. I need boxes. I’ve filled my three crates. And I have a lot more clothes than I realized. Possibly because I buy clothes ALL THE TIME. Or, I did when I was in France. Most of my possessions are clothing, I would say. Mostly since I cleaned out my bookshelf in August.

Among the reasons I’m not meant for Austin

Austin,Texas | Tuesday 2 December 2008 9:28 pm

It’s the cedar and the juniper, in case you’re curious.
